Saturday, March 15, 2008 9:00 AM - Tree Planting in Ladd's Addition
- Gather in front of Palio's Desert House on Ladd Circle at 9 AM.
- Bring your shovel and plan to play in the mud.
- Also bring hand clippers and long handled pruners if you can. We will be doing some "Low Limb" pruning on some of the younger replacement elms.

Annual Meeting of Save Our Elms - 8:00AM
SOE Annual Meeting. Public is invited. Nomination and election of officers on the agenda.
Palio's Elm Room.
- Summer is here!!
DON'T FORGET TO WATER YOUR NEWLY PLANTED TREES!!
- 10 gallons per week.
- Hint: Make a small hole in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket place it at the base of the tree and fill it up twice a week.
Can't make it on the Big Day?
Well, Volunteers are also needed prior to injection day too!!
- Put up signs on elm tree in inoculation area.
- Organize Food/Beverages for Volunteers.
- Organize Tools and Supplies.

Elm Inoculation Day Schedules
Ladd's Addition
- Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM,
Meet at Palio's Elm Room.
Inoculation Day Schedule:
- Aprox. 90 American Elms to be injected in 2008.
- 8:30 AM Orientation & Instructions. Volunteers meet on Ladd Circle in front of Videorama / Palio's.
- 9:00 AM Inoculations begin.
- 11:30 AM (approx.) Break for Lunch.
- 12:30 PM Finish inoculating any remaining trees (if any).
- 4:00 PM Collect and remove trash and recyclable materials from inoculation area.

Friday, September 5, 2008 - Home Tour Advanced Tickets Go On Sale !!
- Home Tour Tickets will be available for purchase at:
- Hankins TrueValue Hardware 1720 SE Hawthorne Blvd. and
- Palio Dessert and Espresso House, 1996 SE Ladd Ave. (on Ladd Circle).
- Advanced Tickets $10.00 - Event Day $13.00 (children under 18 free with purchase of one ticket).
